இ CASCADES, All The Way To Yesterday|Interview with Dante Luzon in Manila

Started as the 'Silver Strands' in 1960, then to the 'Thundernotes' and finally in 1962 changed the name to 'The Cascades' - apparently inspired by a box of detergent. 'Rhythm of the Rain' was written by band member John Gummoe (born 2 Aug 1938, Cleveland, Ohio). The song rose to #3 in the US Billboard Chart in 1963 and it also took the whole world by storm and became a 'titanic flood' inundated more than 80 countries.
