Bobby Sherman, (born Robert Cabot Sherman Jr. on 22 July 1943 in Santa Monica, California) a teen idol of the late 60s and star of 'Shindig' and 'Here Comes The Brides'. Cannot remember the latter tv series very well but unlikely to forget Shindig, where my close buddy Peter Chin and I would be glued to the black and white tv. Bobby is a certified EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) since 1988, who started as reserve officer with the LAPD and San Bernardino Sheriff Dept. He has been instrumental in starting a volunteer EMT Foundation who is responsible for training of new EMTs. Still very active even at the age 65 and has said that medical rescue work and teaching is the best life experience and training that he could ever have.
